New CD Project
Anne Marie has been working on a NEW full-length CD to be released later this year. So far, it includes three songs: Home to Stay, Child’s Simple Praise, and Skating at Twilight by Anne Marie and long-time collaborator Sara Hunter and her niece, Sally King. These songs bring to light the joys of childhood, the homeward yearnings for her Minnesota Christmas tree farm, and the sense of home that can only be found in a filled-up heart.

Anne Marie’s music becomes magic under the skilled production of world-renowned producer Bill Elliott, who previously worked with such diverse artists as Bonnie Raitt, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Nicks, Michael Feinstein, and John Lithgow. With the talented acoustic trio that includes Duke Levine (snagged just before his latest Aimee Mann tour), Kevin Barry (Paula Cole), and Mike Rivard (Shawn Colvin), this collection releases the best of these musicians through well-crafted songs and tasteful performances. With Anne Marie’s voice and signature piano, this collection rings from the heart.

Music Added to Web Radio

Compositions Featured in Movie
Anne Marie’s compositions from The First Morning CD are featured in the critically acclaimed documentary “Casting About”. To see clips of the film featuring Anne Marie’s music: www.castingaboutmovie.com/clip.htm

Diane Young’s review of the film reads, “Much of the strength comes from the editing and camerawork. As another woman in the audience said, you come in expecting to see a movie about acting and you see the beauty of women... The film was really strengthened by keeping to one gender. Monologues, personal stories, interaction with offscreen director (of this film and the one they are auditioning for) are interspersed with footage of hands, hair, etc. set to powerful music. Some incredible acting, too.” (HLOTRUDIS SOCIETY FOR INDEPENDENT FILM website, on the Independent Film Festival of Boston, May 2005)

Song Appears in Documentary
